Emma loves her new outfit from big sister and the play vacuum from Uncle Joe. I was excited to see her open the vacuum as she loves to help me with ours, but it's too big for her and of course, she's not as fast as me. I don't want to discourage her wanting to help, but she isn't quite ready for that chore. She also got some new clothes, a purse and water toys. We'll be having lots of fun outside this summer. Mackenzie was showing off her ice cream bubbles and her boots. They are her "work" boots and she puts them on anytime she goes outside. Emma doesn't say two, but she holds up her first finger and her thumb to make an "L" when you ask her how old she is. She also makes that silly face when you say, "Say cheese, Emma." When I told her to do it at the party, she went around to each individual person and made a cheese face at them. It was pretty funny.
On Monday morning, we let her open her presents from my parents and we gave her the bench from Josh and I. It is a little step stool and has her name on it. She and Mackenzie seem to go back and forth with the other one so we thought we'd get her her own.
