Finding eggs

Easter baskets

The girls looked through their Easter baskets then went outside to hunt eggs with their friend Kennedy. They both received matching shirt/skirt outfits from G'ma Jo and G'dad Brock, plus new matching dresses from us. MJ got two new pairs of flip flops. Emma received some new shoes and some new Playdoh. And I just realized the Easter bunny forgot to put in the umbrella and belts for them. Oops!

Coloring eggs

On Saturday, Carla, Michelle and Matthew came over to color eggs with the girls. They had a lot of fun choosing colors and dipping in their eggs. E wanted to dye all her pinks. MJ liked using the wax crayon on hers before coloring them. They also received some fun bunny ears from them.

MJ's Easter Party

Preschool Easter party

MJ and E had a great time at the preschool Easter party. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at the park. MJ played egg games with her classmates then both girls were able to dash for eggs. It was a beautiful spring day (nearly 70 degrees). J enjoyed some time in the sleepwrap while I was watching the girls and slept some in his carseat. Later that afternoon we enjoyed playing t-ball in our yard (that's a whole other post). So glad we had the party that day. We woke up to howling winds the next morning.

I have a little kitty

When the girls were in music class, they sang a song about a little kitty. I think that's what E must have been thinking. She's pretending to have a pet kitty.

Pony tail and pjs

Why is my daughter wearing pjs when it looks like the middle of the day? I don't know either, but she was wearing them when I got her up from her nap! :)

And her hair fits in a ponytail now. I just love it!

Oh, and what was she looking at? Cows, of course. She kept sayings, "Cows, moo!"
